MARTHA’S VINEYARD SURFSIDE HOTEL

The location is perfect. Location location location! I will say, for this price, I should not hear the water in other rooms when someone takes a shower or flushes the toilet. We didn’t complain because it was very clean, everyone was kind and the location really wins - that said, it’s important for light sleepers to know the negative. It’s not a small one. We will return to the island - 50-50 on returning to this hotel due to this and the fact the pricing went down 50% and couldn’t rebook like most major hotels, even a week out.

Great cozy spot with very clean rooms and a friendly atmosphere. Staff, Phillip and Nemanja were on point and at our service to accommodate our every need. Thanks for helping make our visit so amazing!

I can't begin to say how impressed we were with the friendliness of the staff and how hard they were always working to make sure the place looked nice and we were taken care of. One of my roommates wanted the room cleaned outside of cleaning times and the girl was very accommodating and did it when she didn't have to.
The place was adorable, beautiful flowers, clean, nice patio & even had umbrellas for us to use when it was raining. Can't say enough about this place. Loved it!! and everyone that worked there!!
The location was perfect. Of all the cities we felt Oak Bluffs was the best place for us to stay. Lots of bars, restaurants and shopping. And it was just a quick FREE bus ride to Edgartown, which seemed a little more low key. And one block from the Steamship Authority ferry.
We had room 311 which was on the end and had a separate bedroom. Very spacious and perfect for 3 or 4. And a great price for the room.
The gardens and patio were beautifully maintained and offered a great place to relax outside of the room. And we had a great conversation with Livingston!!

It’s Sensational Sunday and this was a fabulous stay at MV Surfside Hotel. The location was perfect for all things important that you need to experience while in the MV. The atmosphere sitting in the rocking chairs in the front of the hotel was essential because most will stop and greet you. The rooms were very & comfortable beds the garden view & ocean rooms was a view of peace. The Value will have me booking my room again-SOOOOOOOON!!!

Location, Location, Location is the cherry on top with this hotel. Nice and Clean with Friendly staff. Exit the Ferry at Oak Bluffs, wheel your luggage across the street and then head to Inkwell Beach. Enjoy Lookout Tavern for A Lobster Roll, Fat Ronnie's for a Burger, Back Door Donuts for a Fritter, The Big Dipper for A Slice of Coffee Cake with your Milkshake and The Good Shoppe for a Lemonade with Italian Ice, all within walking distance. My favorite spot on the Island.

Wonderful Surfside is a very nice hotel and is spotless inside and out. The gardens in the courtyard are just beautiful. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Location is perfect . Right in town, close to beach, restaurants and bars.

Nice hotel in a great location We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is close to the OB ferry and close to the action, but still quiet. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff members were friendly and helpful. The garden was lovely, and the ice machine had plenty of ice. The hotel certainly had its quirks - for example, hot and cold were reversed in the shower, and the sink’s cold tap by turns ran quite warm, sort of cool, and almost cold, making toothbrushing an adventure. We’d not noticed that there’s no elevator, so getting our luggage to the third floor wasn’t our favorite thing; but the desk attendant volunteered to help. We’ll be back!

Two thumbs up! Great location conveniently located for walking to restaurants, shops, and boats. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our garden view room was on the first floor. Very clean and spacious! I loved the texting communication option. We would stay here again.
